1) Coconuts grow best in tropical climates with annual rainfall between 1,200–2,500 mm, temperatures of 27–30°C, and well-drained sandy loam soils.
2) Standard spacing is about 8m x 8m (around 175 palms per hectare). Seedlings are usually planted at the onset of the rainy season for better root establishment, especially Maha season
3) Regular application of ALLIED commercial fertilizers [ APM / YPM / SPL.COCONUT / CU/03 Mixtures], organic manure, and soil moisture conservation methods.
