Introduction
Allied Commercial Fertilizers (Pvt.) Ltd. (ACFL) is a limited liability company incorporated and domiciled in Sri Lanka.The Company was incorporated on 25th November 1996 and duly registered with the National Fertilizer Secretariat of Sri Lanka in the same year.
ACFL import, blend and distribute all types of straight and standard types of NPK based fertilizer mixtures, including mixtures recommended by TRI, CRI and RRI of Sri Lanka.With excellent service, within 25 years we have built up a large clientele of valued customers.
We serve the National Agricultural Sector through a network of dealers and distribution centres covering major agricultural areas in Sri Lanka where we issue a substantial quantity of straight and mixed fertilizer.

The Company was incorporated bearing company. Registration Number N(PVS)18187 on 25th November 1996 and re-registered under the Companies Act no. 07 of 2006 on 29th October 2008 bearing Registration Number PV 8657
With the market acceptance of Allied Fertilizers and the achievement of business stability, we have modernized our blending operations with State-of-the-Art Technology thus ensuring high-quality homogenous blends.
we have expanded and diversified our product line with organic and more environmentally friendly supplementary products which could be easily marketed through our existing dealer network. We are currently selling a high volume of compost fertilizer as well as EU standard liquid bio stimulants from the Agri Tecno brand in Spain as their sole agent in Sri Lanka.
We have established an Agriscience R&D department and a microbiology lab to locally produce bio microbial inoculants in commercial quantities with locally extracted bacteria before the end of 2023. These include Azospirillium, Azotobacter, and Rhizobia (nitrogen fixing), Bacillus and Pseudomonas (bacterial biocontrol agents), and Trichoderma (for both biocontrol of plant pathogens and biofertilizer).
We are launching ourselves to market locally produced and imported seeds with high germination with value addition through technologies developed by our R&D department.
We have established firm connections with leading local universities and organizations to commercialize their patented laboratory-proven agriculture biotechnology projects with hopes of tapping into the export markets for future expansion.
During the last three decades, we achieved slow and steady growth in terms of sales volumes year on year basis with a track record of excellence, renowned for quality and reliability. marketing a wide range of superior products from custom blended fertilizers to specialty ago products. From inception as a very small company in 1996 we have steadily increased our operations and are expanding.
We have established our own Sales Distribution Centers in strategic locations in Higurakgoda and Waralla to supplement our large dealer and sub-dealer network. These Distributors act as the channel between farmers and Allied Commercial, creating a gateway to market our products to the rural community.
In addition, direct customers such as individual estate holders and Government Institutions contribute to approximately about 5% of our sales volume.
We are now in the process of expanding our dealer network to cover the remaining parts of the country. In order to facilitate this envisaged expansion, we have already increased our blending capacity and expanded our storage facilities.
Our sales and distribution activities are centralized and controlled by our Head Office located at No 152, Galle Road, Colombo 4. In addition to our main sales and production center in Peliyagoda, we have other Sales Centers located in strategic locations.
Our sales operations consist of regional Sales Managers and Field Sales Staff who can provide efficient customer service. Most of our staff have a degree or diploma in Agriculture in addition to other qualifications.
The goal of Allied Commercial is to satisfy the specific needs of commercial agriculturists, and the rural farmer with the introduction of value-added innovative superior-quality products. It also seeks to provide an excellent agronomic advisor service to the farmers including the on-field soil testing and issuing recommendations as per the approved guidelines.

Special Fertilizer Mixtures
ACFL also specializes in formulating special mixtures for any given crop with correct NPK/Mg ratio.Our satisfied customers / end users continue to patronize our proprietary mixtures, which are marketed under Allied Commercial Fertilizers.
Blending Technology
At ACFL all mixtures are mechanically blended using Continuous Blending Machines which produce a homogeneous blend. Thus maintaining the highest standards in the analytical composition of all our mixtures. A new Blending Machine with a higher capacity is being installed
Quality Assurance
All operations from the time of importing the ingredients up to the time of delivery are handled by personnel with wide experience in the fertilizer field for over 30 years. Our fertilizer ingredients are subjected to SLS standards at the point of import to ensure quality. In addition to in- house testing we have firm arrangements with leading Laboratories in Colombo to check the quality of our fertilizer mixtures on a regular basis, thereby guaranteeing our customers a quality product.

ACFL Works Division is conveniently located at No.217, Negombo Road, Peliyagoda Prompt and expeditious transport of fertilizer at competitive rates to any location in Sri Lanka is provided in our fleet of lorries.
